What a Lapland log cabin actually includes
A private sauna is standard rather than an upgrade, and the log walls are built for -30°C, so the cabin holds heat long after the fire dies down. Capacity runs from two to twelve, which is why the same word covers a couples hut and a group lodge.
The real decision is service level. Resort cabins come with a restaurant and an activity desk; remote wilderness cabins are self-catering and a few are reached only by snowmobile transfer. Confirm which you are booking, and check whether the sauna is wood-fired if that matters to you.
